Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
In a concerning turn of events, Panapukur in Bhangar has once again been rattled by the discovery of a cache of bombs. According to police and local sources, on Friday morning, locals found several bombs kept in buckets wrapped in sacks in a garden of Panapukur village in Chaltaberia area of Bhangar. The count of recovered bombs stands at eight to ten. Local people promptly reported the discovery to the Kashipur police station.
The police officials from Kashipur police station have initiated an investigation to determine the individuals responsible for placing the bombs in the garden. The discovery has raised concerns about potential security threats and the motives behind such acts in the area.
However, the incident has also sparked strong political speculations. Azharuddin Mollah, a member of the Indian Secular Front (ISF) in the area, alleges that he is being pressured to join the Trinamool Congress party. He suggests a political motive behind the bomb discovery, claiming that the Trinamool Congress is attempting to frame him because of his refusal to join their ranks. Arbul Islam, in response, demands the arrest of Azharuddin Molla, asserting that efforts are being made to instill fear in the area under the leadership of the ISF member. The Trinamool Congress threatens street protests if the alleged criminals are not apprehended, emphasizing that only those willing to align with their party will find safety in the grassroots.
